The Hungarian American Athletic Club in the year 2018 bought two valuable supplies: new, modern sound equipment and a set of stage curtains. These investments have been largely contributed by the Bethlen Gábor Fund.

In 2019 the Hungarian American Athletic Club received monetary funds from the Bethlen Gábor Fund again. This contribution was used to purchase new chairs for the club’s ballroom. We will start using the new chairs on Dec. 31.

In 2022, just like in 2020 and 2021, the Hungarian American Athletic Club received financial support through the grant provided by the Gábor Bethlen Fund, which was entirely applied towards the Club’s operating costs.

In 2023, the Hungarian American Athletic Club received financial support through two grants provided by the Gábor Bethlen Fund. One grant was used to refinish the hardwood floors in our ballroom at the end of October 2023. The second grant was used to invite two artists from Hungary to perform at the 110th Anniversary Gala reception on November 11th, 2023. In 2024 we received a significant monetary contribution towards the HAAC building real estate taxes from the Gábor Bethlen Fund.

In 2025 we received a grant from the Gábor Bethlen Fund to cover our electric and gas expenses during the summer months. A significant amount of energy is being used to prepare for the Hungarian Festival and for the Festival day.
